Swallow School is a K-8 public school located in the scenic lake country area of Waukesha County, approximately 25 miles from downtown Milwaukee. Our cultural heritage dates back to 1844. The original school house was built in the autumn of 1843, with the most recent addition constructed in 2005. Current enrollment is approximately 550 students, with most continuing on to Arrowhead Union High School.

The district is known for experienced, quality staff and high student achievement. The district attributes this success to a high level of parent involvement, dedicated teachers and our student's eagerness to succeed.

The mission of Swallow School is to help prepare students for their future.  At Swallow we will challenge students to achieve intellectual and creative excellence through a curriculum that emphasizes the basic skills. To facilitate learning, the staff is committed to providing a safe and orderly environment for students where they will learn and practice being self directed and responsible members of society.

In seeking accomplishment of our mission we recognize the interrelated role that family and school play in helping students reach their potential. The Swallow staff is committed to keeping parents informed of their child's progress and to encourage parent involvement in their child's education.
