I have had the privilege of teaching the terrific students at Swallow School since 1999. After earning a Master's Degree in Professional Development from Cardinal Stritch University, I have continued my education on a daily basis at Swallow School by creating, nurturing, and maintaining an environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Every year I look forward to helping students reach their potential while becoming responsible, kind citizens of our wonderful learning community. |

Welcome to first grade! After graduating from UW-Whitewater, I taught elementary Spanish for four years in Kettle Moraine before joining the dedicated and passionate staff at Swallow. I taught 3rd grade for 10 years, and this will be my eleventh year in 1st grade. I also have my master's degree from UW-Whitewater.
I feel privileged to teach at Swallow and to work with your child. I love my job, and I love 1st graders! First grade is such a magical year in your child’s life of learning. Children make such amazing growth in 1st grade as they begin to become readers and writers. It is so rewarding to be a part of this magical journey and to nurture your child.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, walking, cooking, and baking. Our family lives in Oconomowoc. My husband and I have two sons who attend Oconomowoc High School and UW-Platteville. As a family, we enjoy spending time outside or at music and sporting events that our boys are involved in.
I look forward to a fun year of learning with your child! |
