I have lived in Wisconsin most of my life. After teaching for more than 25 years with high school- aged children with special needs, and later students who were at risk to not graduate, I retired from teaching. This is my first opportunity to work with younger learners and I very much enjoy it. I am married and have three adult children and one beautiful granddaughter who I love to spend my free time with. My hobbies include playing tennis, walking, and lately I have been traveling a little more to Europe, where I have extended family. I hope to continue working at Swallow until my next retirement!

I was born in Wisconsin and have lived most of my life here. The Hartland area has been my home since 1998. My husband, Rich, and I have three children who attended Swallow and Arrowhead Schools. I have enjoyed working at Swallow School since 2001 as a para-professional in the Content Mastery Center.

I have lived most of my life in the Richfield/Colgate area. My husband Brian and I have three children, two of which are still in high school. Our oldest is married with two little ones.

I have worked in the special education department in the West Bend School District as well as owning and operating my own licensed child care.

I am excited to continue my journey and be a part of the Swallow Special Education Team!

After spending several years in the private sector as a human resources and training manager, I earned a teaching license from Carroll University in 2008, specializing in middle childhood and early adolescence education with minors in social studies and math.

I have spent the past ten years teaching social studies, math, personal finance, vocabulary and genius hour at a local middle school and love working with students to support their educational and social progress. My family of four includes my husband, freshman son at University of Wisconsin and junior daughter at Arrowhead. I'm looking forward to supporting our Swallow students throughout the year.
