Speech/Language Pathologist

Hi! My name is Sarah Sarchet. I am the speech therapist at Swallow School and work with students beginning at age three all the way up to 8th grade. I am in my 13th year at Swallow. I actually attended Swallow School from kindergarten through 8th grade. It is amazing how it has grown and changed, but also wonderful how the passion for learning and commitment by the staff, families, and students has stayed the same.

I attended Arrowhead High School and then went on to Liberty University in Virginia and got my Bachelors in Psychology. I came back to Wisconsin and went to graduate school at Marquette University. I received my Masters of Science in Speech and Language Pathology. In addition, I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.

I am married to a wonderful man, Jason, and have four precious children, Caden, Kylie, Cruz, and Kinley. We live in Hartland and this year all of my children also attend Swallow. We love spending time as a family. Besides being a speech therapist, mother, and wife, I also enjoy spending my time cooking, reading, and playing all kinds of sports.

Occupational Therapist

Hello! My name is Carla Frantl and I am the Occupational Therapist at Swallow School. This is my eighth year consulting in this capacity at Swallow School. Previously, I was the Occupational Therapist at Erin Elementary School.

I graduated from UW - Milwaukee in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. I chose Occupational Therapy within the school system because I wanted to be a part of enhancing a student's ability to be successful in the learning environment. This includes working on handwriting and fine motor skills. There is nothing better than seeing the smile on a child’s face when they have been successful in achieving their OT goals.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, going for walks, and watching football. My husband, Steve, and I have two children: Alexis (19) a sophomore at the UW - Whitewater, and Jake (17) a senior at Hartford Union High School.
