District Secretary

I joined the Swallow School District in August, 2006.  I had previously worked for the Cedarburg School District as Secretary to the Superintendent and Board of Education from 2000 to 2006.  Prior to that time I was a Paralegal for a Cedarburg law firm for 10 years.

I reside in Watertown with my husband who is a teacher at Watertown High School and three step-children.  My son, his wife and their son live in Lansing, Michigan where my son is pursing a doctorate degree in Molecular Genetics/Microbial Biology at Michigan State.  I also have a daughter who is attending The Chicago School of Professional Psychology to obtain a PhD in International Psychology.

I am a huge Packer fan and also enjoy boating, traveling, cooking, reading and learning new things.

School Secretary

I was born and raised in Illinois (which explains the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs attire).  I attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement Administration with a minor in Sociology.  Over the years, I've held positions in police departments, law offices and a prison.

I worked out of my home while raising my three children.  As they grew older, I initially worked part-time for the Racine Unified School District and then went full-time working for seven years as a Student Information Systems Analyst.  A few years ago my family and I relocated to the Lake Country area, and I began at Swallow School in September, 2010.  I enjoy getting to know all of the Swallow students and families, and am very thankful to be working with such a dedicated staff!

Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my husband (who recently got me started bowfishing), chillin' with the kids, reading and movies.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns or thoughts regarding Swallow School!

Our Mission

The Swallow School District, with families and community, will inspire every child to achieve maximum potential for future success as a self-directed, problem-solving, responsible, life-long learner.
