Library and Technology
Annie DiPietro Librarian Welcome to the Swallow School Library! I am the Library Media Specialist at Swallow. I also handle many of our technology pieces. I have enjoyed being an educator for 22 years. I received my undergraduate degree in elementary education from Carroll University in Waukesha. I am licensed to teach grades 1-9, and I have a minor in science. A few years after graduating from Carroll, I earned my master’s degree in elementary mathematics. In 2019 I completed my Library Media Specialist (K-12) license program via UW-Whitewater. Prior to earning my LMS license, I was a classroom teacher for 15 years. I have taught grades 1, 2, 2/3 multiage, 4, and 7-8 science. I have been so fortunate to work with children of all ages during my career as a teacher! When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. Some of my favorite activities are exploring new things with my kids, cooking, reading, and being outdoors kayaking, paddle boarding, and hiking. |
