| Hello! I'm Greta Wollmer, the school psychologist here at Swallow School. This is my first year at Swallow and also my first year as a full-time school psychologist! I have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where I also completed coursework in counseling skills, criminal justice, and neuroscience. I completed my Master of Science in Education (M.S.E.) degree at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and will be graduating with my Educational Specialist (Ed.S) degree in May 2024!
As a school psychologist, I help support students' learning, emotion regulation, behavioral development, and social skills during their time at school. While my role is heavily based in the special education world, I truly am a support for all students. I currently act as the Gifted/Talented Assessment Coordinator and am one of the 504 Coordinators as well, so my role extends throughout the school community.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading (I love book recommendations!), spending time outside, baking, and playing cards with my fiancé. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to begin my career here at Swallow and am already impressed by the welcoming, supportive community you all have created!
